Today’s WOD on CrossFit.com:

Deadlift, 3 reps
1 Back tuck (backflip)
“Back Tuck Progressions” with Laurie Galassi, CrossFit Journal video [wmv] [mov] [HD mov]
WOD Demo with CrossFit Santa Cruz – video [wmv] [mov] [HD mov]
Thoughts? Would you come in to the WOD if that were programmed at our gym?

Matt Strong was the photographer on our team’s trip to Uganda. Please take a look at what we had the opportunity to do. Pictures are so much better than words in describing what we did over there…you helped make this happen! Musana Pictures

I would totally come in for back flips!
I wouldn’t come in if the programming came purely from crossfit.com. Once in a while wouldn’t be bad if it fit in with your normal programming.
To clarify, I would still come in for that specific workout. Backflips would be fun to learn.
The 10 sets of 3 deadlifts would be great, assuming they were heavy! The single back flip would get old, quickly!!! Next question, please.
Sticking to the question, my answer is “yes”.
It would be fun to learn backflips. I would be scared to break my neck, as I am VERY accident prone, but I would come to that WOD.
Yes and since I don’t look ahead to what the WOD is going to be, I wouldn’t have a chance to cherry pick anyways. I like the variety and learning a new “bar trick” would be fun.
Shout out to Jurney for another great Endurance class today at 7am! Thanks!!!
Ah shucks. A planned rest day. I watched the video. I wanna try!!
I’d rather just practice the backflip rather than try to make a progression work in a workout. I don’t like to cherry pick so I’d probably come in still.
Backflipping would be wonderful! Add on some back handspring skills and look out Gabby Douglass! I’m for it!
