Workout of the Day

1. SKILL AND INSTRUCTION (10:00-17:00)
1) With a PVC
10 Pass Throughs
5 Lands in Power Position
5 Overhead Squats
5 Lands in Squat Postion
5 Hang Power Snatch
5 Hang Squat Snatch
5 Halting Snatch Grip Deadlifts with pause at mid-thigh
5 Power Snatch
5 Squat Snatch

2) With barbell
3 Hang Power Snatch
3 Overhead Squats
3 Hang Squat Snatch
3 Power Snatch
3 Squat Snatch

2. WOD (35:00-55:00)

Every 2 Minutes for 10 sets

1 Power Snatch + 1 Squat Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat
*The athlete may drop the bar between the power snatch and full snatch
** Sub as 1 PC, SQ, FS for those with mobility issues.

3. Cool Down (55:00-60:00)
Barbell lower leg smash, 60-90 seconds/side
Upper Back Roll, 60 seconds (optional)

We will be spending time today going over the finer points of the snatch. Everyone on the planet complains about their snatch so SHOW UP TODAY. Pay attention and practice. In the WOD, scale up in weight only if you have perfect form on all 3 movements. The focus is on technique, not total load!
