1. So, since there was a nutrition lecture a couple weeks ago, I say we post a recipe of one of the meals we had during the day. Pick a meal, i.e breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or a snack and give the recipe. I will start it off with my dinner I had tonight. I'm a very simple person, in more the one way;), and I find what's quick and easy. Tonight I had a Grass fed sirloin steak seasoned with garlic and sea salt. Medium rare is the way I like it. I then sauteed up some yellow squash, zuqueny, and asparagus in two table spoons of grass fed real butter. Seasoned with sea salt and pepper. Very simple, but ohh so delicious.

2. Great idea, Sean, I'm always up for hearing paleo eating ideas (now that I'm a convert).

This has been a breakfast staple of mine for a while. Not "purist" paleo since there's some dairy, but adapt as you see fit:

- Preheat oven to 350
- Brown 1 - 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef or turkey and season however you want
- Cook a pack of bacon

Place browned meat in a 9x13 greased pan and layer the bacon on top. Then in a bowl, mix up:
- 12 eggs
- splash of olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (drain first)
- some cheddar or mozz cheese

Pour over the pan of meat. Cover with foil. put in oven for an hour (remove the foil after 30 minutes). I cut my pan into 6 pieces and have breakfast for the week. Sometimes I layer spinach on the bottom instead of adding the tomatoes. If you're a Zoner counting blocks, it's about 5 blocks of protien, 1 block carb, 2 block fat and all tasty. Throwing an avacado on top adds some awesome fats. Then I usually add a bowl of thawed frozen berries from Coscto with a handful of nuts.

Looking above, it seems a bit excessive, but hey, it's the most important meal of the day, you know.

3. So, my meals today were pretty lame. Just steamers and grilled chicken, but here is a recipe I tried from everydaypaleo.com and it was tasty! http://everydaypaleo.com/2009/12/16/breaded-baked-chicken-and-curried-cauliflower/. Enjoy
