By eating paleo foods, which are high in protein, fiber and omega-3, it will help prevent syndrome x diseases such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, undesirable cholesterol level, etc.. The carbohydrates in the paleo diet are low in the glycemic index, which means they cause a slow and limited rise to your blood sugar and insulin levels. High levels in blood sugar and insulin have been known to cause syndrome x diseases.
Whether you want to look good naked, perform better in the gym, or just want to be healthier overall, than the paleo diet is what you need and want to adhere to. Understand that there is not a one way, cure all way of eating. Instead everyone is different and needs to find out what works for them as an individual.
