A high intensity scalable workout. Since the workouts change every day, expect the unexpected!

Does it really work?
If you are willing to commit, the results are inevitable!

Is CrossFit for me?
Absolutely! Your needs and the Olympic athlete’s differ by degree not kind. Increased power, strength, cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, flexibility, stamina, coordination, agility, balance, and coordination are each important to the world’s best athletes and to our grandparents. We teach functional training, meaning everything we do in the gym is replicates a movement we all do on a daily basis. Therefore with CrossFit; you will benefit if you are a stay at home mother or a triathlete training for Ironman.

What if I don’t have time for all of this?
It is a common to feel that you don’t have the time to become as fit as you might like. Here’s the good news: world class, age group strength and conditioning is obtainable through an hour a day six days per week of training. It turns out that the intensity of training that optimizes physical conditioning is not sustainable past forty-five minutes to an hour. Athletes that train for hours a day are developing skill or training for sports that include adaptations inconsistent with elite strength and conditioning. Past one hour, more is not better!

Can you work around an injury?
All of our workouts are scalable, meaning we can substitute exercises to work around injuries. In fact the CrossFit program can be used in conjunction with any rehab program.

If I’m a female, will I get big and bulky?
CrossFit will not make you bulk up. Male, female, or horse. Although genetics will play a role in your body composition. In order to get the figure you have always wanted, you must commit to an exercise program (i.e., CrossFit) and feed your body with the right balance of the right foods. We have had great results with the paleo diet, and would be glad to help you get started.

What if I don’t know how to do Olympic lifts?
Our foundations classes will teach you everything you need to know before you enter the group class. Once you have demonstrated the ability to perform them to our satisfaction you can join the WOD group classes to continue to improve your technique. We also offer special strength classes that will continue to develop your technique.

What can I do to better prepare myself?
